SCEC Endorsed, what is it?
SCEC stands for Security Construction Equipment Committee which is a Government body and the endorsement received from SCEC means that all methods employed by Australian Destruction Services comply with their stringent requirements for the collection, transportation and destruction of confidential documents.

The Collection of Classified Material
The procedures followed for the collection of confidential material is:
The vehicles are always locked and secured whilst in a building and at no time is classified and or sensitive material collected from a client site in a compactor vehicle, ONLY pantech vehicles are to be used at all times.

Transportation
All vehicles used for the collection and transportation of all security documents:

are fully enclosed pantechs
-
fully owned and operated by the company, sub-contractors are not used.

has a rear door with its own locking mechanism supplemented with an additional SCEC endorsed padlock on the doors to ensure security.

when driven back to the destruction facility, is unloaded in the confines of the facility.

are operated by security drivers whom display appropriate ID and are uniformed clearly identifying what company they are from and the service they provide.
